Vashon Demographics looks at the characteristics of those who live here, examining topics such as population numbers, gender, race/ethnicity, age, income, housing, education/schools, and employment. Most information comes from Census data and other government research, supplemented by commentary about current issues. This class also considers trends that suggest a picture of Vashon-Maury Island in the future.
